AstaTech’s R&D center is divided into four R&D departments, three technology departments, one new technology R&D departments and one amplification pilot system. At present, there are more than one hundred of researchers, including 10 doctors (several returnees) and 56 masters. The R&D laboratory, kilo-lab, pilot plant and manufacturing shop cover 12,000 square meters, including scientific research building covering more than 8,000 square meters and pilot plant and manufacturing shop covering more than 4,000 square meters. AstaTech has 45 proprietary intellectual property rights and has declared 55 patents (25 invention patents). AstaTech has successively established post-doctoral scientific research station, academician (expert) innovation station, and united laboratory for organic light-emitting material. In 2010, it has elected as vice chairman of Chengdu Biomedical Outsourcing Service Union, and was rated as high-tech enterprise.
